| Who’s Who The Constable of Homunculi |
The Constable of Homunculi was the superintendent of the Clone Lab complex within the Imperial Citadel on Byss, and probably one of the
most senior and important officers of the Household. The Constable was mentioned only in the Dark Empire Sourcebook, which states that
the Galactic Emperor’s clones within the Clone Vat Chamber were “tended night and day by the Clone Keepers and their leader, a special Dark
Side Adept called the Constable of Homunculi.” The Constable was, therefore, the senior clonemaster of the Imperial State, but other than that
there is no known information about him (including gender — it is only assumed as a matter of convenience that he is male). One can safely
assume that the Constable was one of the scientists mentioned in the Dark Empire Sourcebook as having “perfected [the Galactic Emperor’s]
base genetic patterns to create enhanced intelligence, stamina, strength and agility,” and was probably also one of the “scientists and
physicians” mentioned in The Essential Chronology and The New Essential Chronology as having sought — to no avail — a cure for the
Galactic Emperor’s degenerative disorder in Empire’s End. The Constable was presumably killed when Byss was destroyed in 45 rS at the end
of Empire’s End.
